St. Valentine’s Day is an annual festival to celebrate romantic love, friendship and admiration. Every year on the 14th of February people celebrate this day by sending messages of love and affection to partners, family and friends. At CSI-Ocala, the staff morale wanted to show our staff and youth how much we care. We teach our youth that love doesn’t have to be with a significant other, but to their peers as well. This day consisted of a cookie decorating activity, basket raffle, pizza, drinks and goodie bags. We feel it is important to help our youth to strengthen their emotional intelligence, confidence and selflove!
