We had a very busy month! The house activities consisted of gardening, outdoor play, and hands on life skills such as resume building and cooking. One of our long-time residents has moved on to a wonderful independent living arrangement, and will soon be starting college. She will be dearly missed.
Our focus is on developing staff and residents on techniques learned in the “Girls Matter” training. This will be a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the relationship building. We are excited to see the residents develop and grow in their confidence and self-worth.
Meet Dylan Davis! Dylan has worked at New Hope Center since March of this year. Dylan is a favorite of the residents because he enjoys engaging in their stories, and he loves to participate in recreational activities. We love having Dylan as part of the New Hope team!
