The boys celebrated Black History by studying trailblazers such as Ruby Bridges and Rosa Parks, and athletes such as Jackie Robinson and Muhammad Ali. The boys also did a deeper dive into Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and learned that the holiday declared in honor of his birthday actually began as a “day of service” and volunteer work.

In addition to their Black History studies, the boys enjoyed the snow, watched the Tampa Bay Bucs win the Super Bowl while feasting on pizza and wings during the big game, and welcomed new therapist Savannah “Nich” Lyle. Welcome, Nich!

Last, but not least, Lebanon Academy announces their first graduate for 2021, Mr Toby Shae Lackey! Congratulations Toby on obtaining your HISET Diploma. We wish you all the best as you prepare for the next chapter and your upcoming discharge this spring.
