Bledsoe Youth Academy celebrated the 19th Amendment and women’s right to vote. People like Susan B. Anthony and women’s suffrage were discussed. With the rise of COVID-19 in Sumner County, special attention was given to safety, security, social distancing, and health.

The students were engaged in a meditation exercise, which was centered around music. We also celebrated the graduation of youth TF, who earned his high school diploma. Youth TF was celebrated by his twin sister and other family members, faculty, and staff. He plans to attend college and we are very proud of his accomplishment and future goals!

The monthly incentive for eligible youth was an outdoor event on the Slip-N-Slide. This was a “water-ful” experience for the students, and fun was had by all. This allowed the students the opportunity to cool off in this tremendous heat.
