Mental Health Team

  • Mental Health staff includes master's level therapists, a licensed Clinical Director, contracted Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and additional qualified mental health professionals.


  • Facility Director oversees all programs at the facility.
  • The facility has a vast array of programs.
  • The facility provides weekly non-denominational religious services.
  • All educational needs are provided by The Raider Group. Oversight of educational services provided by Okaloosa County Schools.
  • This program serves as a GED ® test site.
  • Vocational opportunities include:  Masonry, Electronics Technician, Carpentry and Horticulture.
  • Specialty treatment services address Borderline Developmentally Delayed and Developmentally Delayed youth. 
  • Youth are provided daily treatment services facilitated by qualified mental health professionals that focus on social skills, male related issues, relapse prevention, trauma, impact of crime on communities and life skills.
  • A contracted Board-Certified Behavior Analyst provides individualized behavior plans and staff training to assist in ongoing education and strategies in working with the population's specialized needs.
  • All youth receive individual and family therapy sessions as prescribed within their individualized treatment plan.  
  • The program hosts Family Days, parenting groups, and special service offerings to assist in building and strengthening relationships and preparing for transition.

Living Areas

  • Facility has two living areas.
  • Individuals are provided breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks daily, which are managed by a licensed dietician.
  • Special medical diets and religious diets are provided as needed.
  • Youth receive nightly and monthly incentive activities and canteen. Incentives are created by the Youth Advisory.
  • The program has multi-purpose areas.
  • The program has designated "man caves" (activity rooms) for earned privileges and socialization opportunities.
